CCOM
is a tool kit for sharing our Coastal Resource
Management (CRM) experiences and helping
others to replicate co-management at local
and provincial levels. The kit contains
To help you identify the
manual or example that interests you, we
have used the image of a boat with four
crew members as a way to organise the documents
in the CD.
All our communities use
boats to get around the bays, but the engine
will decide how far you go and represents
our baywide coordination activities.
A boat must have at least
a driver, so the four crew members represent
different co-management organisations. They
show the importance of human cooperation
in co-management arrangements.
The other parts of the
boat (like the hull, oar and propeller)
determine how easily you travel in the water,
and these are used to represent the co-management
activities we implemented in our project.
To help you get the documents
you want, click on the different parts of
the image. By clicking on the parts of the
image, you will find a description of what
manuals and CHARM examples we have produced
to help you start or improve your own co-management
activities. |
